AFC Arts Adventure Camp 2005:
We Beat The Heat With Cool Arts Activities!

From hip hop dance and West African drumming to our now famous talent showcase, "Arts Adventure Idol," the second season of the AFC Arts Adventure Camp has come and gone with great success! Our theme day, "Survivor South Africa" and the "beat boxing" workshop with professional, Chris Salvador, certainly added to the excitement around camp. These were some of many firsts that were introduced this summer. The Breakfast Club, dance department and Counsellor-In-Training Program were other additions that also fused seamlessly with the already existing innovative arts program.

One of the many rewarding moments was seeing the smiles on each camper's face after performing for family and friends on Visitor's Day. Beaming with pride, many of the children basked in the success of their first performance in front of an audience. We look forward to developing new programming, so that our campers have the very best experience the city has to offer, at a subsidized cost, for those who need it most.
